An upcoming California Air Resources Board meeting will give truckers a chance for their voices to be heard regarding upcoming CARB regulations and incentive funding. Questions may be submitted in advance of the meeting, scheduled June 26. The board is also expected to discuss pending litigation in the case of American Trucking Association vs. the U.S. Evironmental Protection Agency.
The California Air Resources Board will discuss outreach and funding assistance to truckers at a June 26 meeting in Sacramento.
Board members will meet June 25-26 to talk about plans for CARB and local air district outreach to truckers on rule requirements and incentive funding. This update will cover development of a comprehensive web portal for truck owners on CARB rules affecting trucks and on-board equipment and incentives.
The board will also hold a closed session on pending litigation concerning the American Trucking Associations vs. the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, filed in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
