A new lightweight, aerodynamic bumper from Hendrickson Bumper and Trim has been released for Volvo 3003 and newer on-highway trucks. Available for retrofits exclusively through Volvo and Mack dealers, the AERO CLAD bumper features an air dam. It combines corrosion-resistant stainless steel and lightweight alumimum polished to a mirror finish, making it more environmentally friendly than chrome plating.

Hendrickson Bumper and Trim unveiled its AERO CLAD bumper with air dam for 2003 and newer Volvo VNL on-highway trucks. According to the company, this bumper comes as part of an optional factory-installed metal bumper package on VNL trucks and also is available for retrofits exclusively through Volvo and Mack dealers.

Made by bonding high strength, corrosion resistant stainless steel to lightweight aluminum then polishing to a bright mirror finish, AERO CLAD bumpers offer a durable, lightweight and environmentally friendly alternative to chrome plating, its maker said.
